Crazy wind storms followed by beautiful sunny days? It must be spring in the PNW. This weather can be hard to dress for, which is why we're bringing you a series of Spring Style Tips this month to help you dress for spring while staying warm. So here is installment #2: a Pop of Color!
Adding a bright pop of color to an otherwise dark or neutral outfit is an easy way to transitioned into spring. One of the most fun ways to wear some statement color is on your legs! Check out our favorite hues below.
Bold, solid tees are a great way to layer in some color while staying warm, and we are loving this royal blue v-neck. If you haven't tried our modal blend t-shirts yet, you're in for a treat! We just stocked up on all of the best colors in v-neck and round-neck, and trust me, you're going to want more than just one of these babies.
My personal favorite way to wear a pop of color is to throw on a colorful scarf. We have some of the most beautiful Indian kantha and wide pashmina scarves at Fringe right now! Pashminas in particular are perfect wraps to accompany dresses, as they can fold out into shawls to cover your shoulders.
Next up: spring cardigans! A bold cardigan is the ultimate go-to for spring weather when you often need an extra light layer. Also, shout-out on the sideline to black and white stripes for somehow working as a statement, a solid, and a pattern simultaneously. Gotta love some good stripes. But we were talking about cardigans...
Finally, try adding in a pop of color with a bright bag. Once you find the right bag (and I suggest starting small with a clutch or cross body style), this one can be the simplest way to make a colorful statement--you've already got your essentials loaded in, so it's literally grab and go, and voilà, a pop of color!
